What is DELF? 

The DELF, diplôme d'études en langue française, is issued by the French Ministry of Education. It is recognised throughout the world and is valid for life.
The exam offered by the Alliance Française de Toulouse, under the auspices of France Éducation International, is the DELF for the general public.

For whom and why?

Aimed at adults and older teenagers, whether foreign or French, who want to develop their French language skills for personal or professional purposes, the DELF for the general public is made up of 4 diplomas: A1, A2, B1 and B2. Each diploma corresponds to the first 4 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages


The group tests - listening, reading and writing - take place during the first week of the exam.
A1: Wednesday mornings
A2: Wednesday afternoon
B1: Thursday morning
B2: Thursday afternoon
You will be notified of a time and date for the individual test - oral production.
