What is the TCF TP? 

The TCF TP, Test de Connaissance du Français Tout Public, is a French language test issued by the French Ministry of Education. It is valid for 2 years from the date of issue of the results. 

For whom and why?

The TCF for the general public is aimed at anyone aged 16 or over who is not a native speaker of French and who wishes to have their level of French assessed for the following reasons:
- academics (students, future students, trainees, etc.);
- professionals (employees or future employees...);
- personal.

Course

Compulsory tests :

Listening comprehension: 29 questions, 25 minutes
Mastery of language structures: 18 questions, 15 minutes
Reading comprehension: 29 questions, 45 minutes

Optional tests (additional €50 per test)

Written expression: 3 exercises, 60 minutes
Oral expression: 12 minutes (including 2 minutes preparation)

Please note that if you are registering for the first time or if you registered with the Alliance Française more than 12 months ago, you will have to pay a €50 registration fee, which will be added automatically to your basket.
